Ready for a fun beachy sampler? Explore 12 stitches with this cute shell themed embroidery pattern. Follow the instructions and learn something new, or stick to your tried and true stitches while outlining and filling in the organic shapes.
Four of the stitches are new to me so please stay tuned for their diagrams and video tutorials!
Seafoam cotton fabric stamped with the design (see photos)
An 8 inch wooden hoop for framing
A variety pack of Bohin embroidery needles
Six skeins of DMC six-stranded cotton embroidery floss
The instructions for stitching the pattern (described below)
You may want to invest in a high quality embroidery hoop if you have trouble maintaining tension with the included hoop. I bind my hoops with fabric or fabric tape to help, but you may find plastic, metal or high quality wood hoops easier to use. You can then use the wooden hoop included in the kit for framing your finished work.
The embroidery pattern includes: - Stitch and color keys - Shopping list with suggested DMC embroidery floss colors - Full color close up photo of stitched pattern - PDF design sized for a 8 inch hoop ready to print (shrink or enlarge to meet your needs)
